Siem Reap's nightlife extends to near dawn nowadays, with
the bar scene coming to life around dusk and the last several clubs and pubs
closing as late as 4AM. Nightlife locations are spread throughout the city but
much of the most popular areas are grouped along and around "Pub Street " (Street
8) and the connecting walkways: The Passage, Alley West and also the Lane. Numerous
of the Pub Street
area bars offer generous earlier evening happy hour deals.
Pub Street also offers a few of the newest operating bars in
city, such as the Temple Club , Angkor What
and X-Bar, occasionally open till dawn. Nevertheless the action isn't
restricted to Pub Street .
Less crowded, less touristy, much more individual places populate the city, some
along Sivutha and Wat Bo Road .
For anything different, look at one of many Cambodian clubs - DJs, dancing and
also a unique and varied collection of international and local music. The clubs
get started around 10PM and close by 3AM.
